The mighty Fortians

Fortians are children of God of Strength. Their distinctive features are white skin with elements of silver-blueish scales on their face, hands and legs (natural body armor), sharper teeth and elongated facial features, dark brown/black hair, larger body types, dragon pupils.

The main habitat of fortians is Ferox Lucus (Tameless Taiga) With capital city of Glacia Caverna (Ice caves) inside Draco Mountains.

Fortians live in a villages using all the taiga treasures in an everyday life. They are hunting and fishing for food, keep the goats, ox and bulls for their milk, and grow small amount of plant based food, as the climate is cold and not many plants can survive even with alchemical fertilizers during the cold seasons. Most of the plant growing goes on at the northern part of the continent and at aestus season months with warmer weathers.

 

During that season is also collected most of the stocks (be it farmer grown or collected in the taiga) for the rest of the year and stored hermetically in their cellars. Their buildings are made usually of wood and strengthened with active materials with activated forte sphaera, such as for example rocks, crystals or animal bones. Every building must have a cellar, as it's vital for the fortians lifestyle.

Weapons

 Fortians are very proud of their martial cultures. They live with combat always being beside them, they love heavy weaponry and sparring, school of war is what they are being taught from the very young age.


Fortians love all kind of large weapons: giant swords, axes, hammers, mauls, clubs, everything that (by fortian opinion) can bring a good portion of damage to the opponent. Fortian fighters might be not the fastest ones, but they could be definitely be strongest out of all!

Alchemy

It's popular to use animal based active materials among fortian alchemists. It's good for both food and raw materials after all! Fortian alchemy isn't as technically advanced as for example scientians, but they've become quite successful and useful in heavy weaponry, heavy armory, architecture and buildings fortifications.

(Goats, rams or even elks) Their popular dessert would be a pancake roll with a filling made of elk milk and berries, after which anyone would feel forte sphaera fill up with energy.

Ornaments and Colors

Fortians wear blue, black, brown and white colors in general. Their outfits are filled with simple repeating round or square ornaments, their leather parts of armors are usually decorated with pattern inspired of dragon eyes, scales, claws and teeth.

Music and Arts

Dragons naturally have powerful voices and they often use them for expressing themselves. Fortian folk music is full of collective singing

Rituals

One of the most popular rituals for fortians is to pass a survival test - young fortian is sent to the wild taiga with a knife or an axe alone for a month, he must not only survive, but bring a trophy - bone, claw, paw, fur. That trophy is later used usually as a talisman, part of the weapon or armor or an accessory.
